Interactive, educational and, most importantly, fun! It's no wonder that more than 8,000 students have already hopped onto the Healthcare Bus which has been visiting secondary schools since January 2017.
An initiative by Care To Go Beyond, the Healthcare Bus is a roving exhibition that aims to give students a better understanding of nursing.
On 17 February, the bus had a special passenger — Dr Amy Khor, Senior Minister of State for the Environment and Water Resources & Health — on board when she officially launched it at Westwood Secondary School. Dr Khor, together with the students, had a great time learning about nursing through a range of interactive displays. She expressed her hopes that by exposing students to healthcare facts in a fun and exciting way, it would encourage them to consider a career in healthcare.
