Launched in 1976 by the Ministry of Health, the Nurses’ Merit Award celebrates nurses who have displayed noteworthy and exceptional performance, participated in professional development as well as contributed to the promotion of the nursing profession. Recipients come from various care settings, including the public healthcare institutions, community care sector, private hospitals, statutory boards.
