Even during the festive season, our nurses are working tirelessly. To thank them for their hard work, the Care To Go Beyond team organised year-end appreciation parties for over 300 nurses. They were held at seven healthcare institutions (Bright Vision Hospital, Jurong Community Hospital, National Skin Centre, National University Hospital, Singapore General Hospital, St Andrew’s Community Hospital and Yishun Community Hospital) from 13 to 21 December 2016.
The YEAh! parties featured performances by local singing duo Jack and Rai who performed With You, a song written specially for nurses. They also performed classic Christmas favourites, with their own unique twist. The National University of Singapore’s Eusoff Hall choir also came down to spread festive cheer to our nurses.
Of course, no party is complete without some tasty treats. Online food delivery service foodpanda sponsored refreshments from Maki-San and Wingstop. Swee Heng Bakery and Bismillah Bake Shop also prepared delectable pastries and desserts just for our nurses.
The nurses also participated in a photo-taking contest where they had the chance to win movie tickets.
